Diane Susan Ammerman

Diane Susan Ammerman (née Tendick), at age 69, entered into eternal rest with her Savior, peacefully, on Saturday, June 24th, 2023. She was at home, with her husband, Howard, and daughter, Tracy, by her side.

A private memorial service was held Saturday, July 15th, 2023, at her church.

She was the daughter of deceased parents, Leonard and June Tendick. She was the loving wife of Howard and loving mother of Christopher (Jessica) Ammerman, Tracy (Phil) Sperandio, and Cory (Rashaena) Ammerman, and proud 'gramma' of her six grandchildren: Ada Rose and Lilliana Grace (Chris and Jess), Lidia Mae (Tracy and Phil), and twins, Vivian June and Emery Jackson, and Annika Reihley (Cory and Rae). She is further survived by three younger siblings and their families: Eric (Lynn) Tendick, Shirley (Steve) Rieven, and Leslie (Timothy) Madison and their nieces and nephews.

She valiantly fought her heart issues and diabetes to attain her goal, that of every mother: to see her children all attain families and successful careers; and to enjoy her six grandchildren.

She loved vegetable gardening, growing indoor flowers, especially African Violets, (there was always at least one growing somewhere in the house), knitting, crocheting, and making things for people. Baby quilts were her favorite for the last few years, making 4 or 5, for our family’s, her friends’ families, and her church family’s newborns. She leaves behind so many projects undone, and some un-started, because she chose rather to spend time with people.
