Debra Jean DeBrozzo Scrima

Debra DeBrozzo Scrima passed away unexpectedly peacefully in her sleep on April 9, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on December 28, 1953, Debra brought warmth to everyone she encountered, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and devotion.

Debra shared a remarkable life with her husband, Todd Scrima, the love of her life. Together for 44 years and married for 35, their bond was an inspiring testament to commitment and deep love.

Her greatest joy was her love for Jesus and her family. She is lovingly remembered by her children Tina (Tony Glapa), Annie (Dennis Sieben), Joenelle Sawa, Samuel (Ashley), and Ariel (Brandon Kolata) Scrima. Her unwavering love and kindness live on through them and all whose lives she touched.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Gabriella, Isabella, Marty, Dominic, Reece, Steele, Maverick, Ryker, Davidson, Benjamin, Riptyn, and Philomena, each of whom brought endless joy to her heart.

Debra is survived by her siblings, whom she loved dearly: Suzanne, Steve (Arlene) , David and Todd (Krista) DeBrozzo. Brother/ Sister In-laws Terri (Stephanie Chouinard), Scott (Heather), Suzanne (Chris Nordby) and Mary Scrima. She will be remembered fondly by many family members and friends.

Reunited in peace with her parents, Samuel (Nancy) DeBrozzo and Carol (George Wilson) DeBrozzo ; her in-laws, Michael & Judith Scrima; her beloved sons, Vincent & Nicholas Scrima; and her grandson, James.

She found joy in being with family and treasuring the tradition of her husband Todd’s homemade spaghetti. She enjoyed golf and was a fashionista with her love for red lipstick, purses, shoes, sun glasses and jewelry.

Debra’s strong personality, ear for listening and kindness will be forever remembered by those who knew her. Her love continues in the lives of her family and friends, shining brightly in their hearts.
