David Humphrey Gilliland

David H. Gilliland, of Mukwonago, Wisconsin, passed away at Waukesha Memorial hospital on June 20, 2024. He was 76 years old. David was born in Chicago, IL, on October 13, 1947.

He grew up in Illinois where he met and married his wife, Gay (nee Baker). He served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972. In 1978, David, his wife, and two daughters, moved to Mukwonago, Wisconsin.

David is survived by his wife, Gay Gilliland; eldest daughter, Amy Kerley, and her son, Oliver Kerley; youngest daughter, Shannon Roldan (Dion Roldan) and their two sons, Isaiah and Dion Roldan.

David, a Certified Public Accountant, owned his own accounting firm in Mukwonago. His daughter Shannon, also a CPA, worked for him for 15 years before he gifted the business to her. Currently his other daughter, Amy, also works at the small practice in Mukwonago.

David was an avid Harley Davidson rider for 25 years and he was a member of the Mukwonago Lion Club for 10 years. Currently he was an active member of The American Legion Post 375.

David had many friends, relatives, and clients, and he will surely be missed by all.
