Daniel William Dittman

Daniel William Dittman passed away suddenly on January 18, 2025, at the age of 75. He was born in Milwaukee, on April 23, 1949, to (the late) Reinhardt and Lillian Dittman. He is survived by his daughters, Erin Dittman and Jaymie (Aleš) Tompa. Further survived by his grandsons, Aleš, Lyam, and Remy Tompa. Lovingly remembered by his former wife, Deborah Dittman. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda (Bob) Sitte; he is also survived by his sisters, Jo Ellen (Noel) Zimny, Sue (the late, Mark) Anderson, and Tina Mudrock. He also had many nieces and nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.

Dan was enjoying his retirement after a long career working for Milwaukee County. He was a kind-hearted, quiet, and easy-going man. He loved Christmas, old classic movies, music, and cheering for his favorite team, the New York Yankees. He will be deeply missed. 

Dan’s private Memorial will be held later this Spring. We will update with details in time. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to HAWS animal shelter in Waukesha are appreciated.
