Dale William Lintelmann

January 20, 1967 — July 19, 2025

Mukwonago

Dale William Lintelmann, 58, of Mukwonago, WI, passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2025, while holding his wife's hand following a decade-long battle with many progressive illnesses. Born on January 20, 1967, in Bemidji, MN, Dale spent his formative years in Blackduck, MN, and Glidden, WI, before relocating to Waukesha, WI, where he graduated from Waukesha North High School in 1985. Following high school, Dale pursued studies at WATC for two years, specializing in small engine repair, a field in which he demonstrated exceptional aptitude for diagnosing and resolving automotive mechanical issues. Dale enjoyed his life-long career at the Waukesha School District in the maintenance-custodial departments where he patiently taught people not only skills of the job but also how to enjoy life. In addition, Dale embraced an active lifestyle participating in activities such as motor cross, motorcycling, jet skiing, ATV riding, boating, and snowmobiling. For years Dale could be seen on the trails snowmobiling and bar hopping in the Glidden, WI, area with his buddies. Dale's favorite passion was hunting and fishing which always involved time with the guys and working on Dad's house in Galesville, WI. In addition, Dale was an avid Harley rider attending many Harley events and celebrations with Terry and friends. On the more gentle, creative side of Dale, he enjoyed his Cricut machine designing creative tumblers to simply give away.

If you needed Dale, he always arrived with a smile and a helping hand whenever and wherever you were. When he helped you, you heard him chant his favorite mottos 'Smarter not Harder' and 'Winner, winner, chicken dinner'.

A special thank you to all who prepared and participated with Dale's fundraiser. A deep gratitude goes out to all friends, caregivers, and hospital staff who supported Dale, me, and our families.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Terry D'Angelo, and their dog, Harley; his father, Frederick (Karen Thorp) Lintelmann; mother-in-law, Marilyn D'Angelo; brother, Bob (Jennifer) Lintelmann; sister, Marlene Feinstein; nieces, Anna (David Haverberg) Lintelmann and Katie (Taylor Kerber) Lintelmann; nephews: Brian (Morgan) Cacic, Caden, and Carson Feinstein; grand niece and nephew, Avery and Brewer Cacic; stepchildren, Samantha and Seth Wrzesinski; along with numerous cousins and a plethora of life-long friends.

Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Joanne Lintelmann (née Flaa); sisters, Karen Cacic and Diane Lintelmann; and brother-in-law, Eric Feinstein.
