Corey Howard Smith

Corey Howard Smith, of Waukesha, WI, passed on February 3rd, 2024, at 50 years of age after medical treatment from a fall.

Corey attended Waukesha South HS thru grade 11 and graduated from Kettle Moraine HS in 1991. He managed Brady Street Hardware from 1994 to 2015, in the meantime earning his Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.

He is survived by his loving mother, Catherine Borneman; stepdad, Tom Borneman; sister, Danielle Duffy (Colin); step-siblings: Dale Borneman (Beth), Donna Miller, and Kris Chambliss (Eric); special friend, Jen Wolfe; godson, Corey Sansom; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his dad, Dennis P. Smith; grandparents, Howard and Mary Walters, Pat and Anne Smith, and Stanford Leroy Schnapp.

Corey had a deep love for furry friends, the family asks that memorial donations are directed to the Waukesha County Humane Society below.

There will be a Celebration of Life on June 1st at the family residence.
