Colleen B. Writt

Colleen B. Writt (nee Smelcer) was born August 22, 1940 to Gertrude and Ralph Smelcer in Lime Ridge, WI. Colleen passed away peacefully on September 23, 2020 at the age of 80. She is survived by her children Susan (Bill) Harvat and Traci Writt; grandchildren Joseph Harvat, Molly Harvat, Daniel Zenge, and Zachary Zenge. She was preceded in death by her husband- Daniel Writt, Sister- Norma Jean Riphahn, Brother- Reginald Smelcer, nephew- Russell Riphahn and her parents. Colleen enjoyed cooking, trying new recipes, entertaining and everyone was welcome. She had a vibrant social life with many groups and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Colleen’s family is grateful to her friends and caregivers who showed their love and care during her life and journey. Angels Grace Hospice was a wonderful and caring place for her to find her way home. In remembrance of Colleen, please have a wonderful dinner and a light pour vodka club soda with a lemon twist for a toast. Memorials to Angels Grace Hospice, Oconomowoc WI in Colleen’s name will be appreciated.
