Clara Ann Higby (nee Worzalla) - 

Passed peacefully on July 4th, 2026. Clara was born October 14, 1937, to parents, Clarence and Ann Worzalla (nee Prinz,) at home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; daughters, Linda (Robert Ketterhagen) & Pamela; grandson, David; daughter-in-law, Laura (David); brother, James Worzalla (Virginia); brother-in-law, Robert Willms; and nephew, Timothy Willms (Michelle). She is survived by her sons, Gary (Rebecca) and David Higby (Beth); her sisters, Carol Willms and Christine (Bernd) Kampe; grandsons, Daniel Higby and John Butler; granddaughters: Angela (Ryan) Larson, Amber (Chris) Ketterhagen, and Ashley Given (Adam); great grandchildren: Kashton, Kayson, Joshua (Isabella), Jayden, and Riley; nephew, Daniel (Michelle) Willms; and nieces, Mary Zarate and Brenda (Garret) Butenhoff.

Clara spent many years living in Waterford, Wisconsin, on the Fox River/Tichigan Lake Area near her sister, Chris, where she loved to fish, bake, enjoy pontoon boat rides, & host her family and friends there. Caring for her family was most paramount to Clara. 

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at St Clare Catholic Church 7616 Fritz Street, Wind Lake, WI, on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026.  Visitation at the church will be from 9:00 am to 9:50 am with a mass following at 10:00 am. Private interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI.
