With heavy hearts and deep love, we share the passing of our beloved family member and friend, Chris J. Adler, of Waukesha, WI, on May 17, 2025. Chris meant so much to so many, and his warmth, humor, and spirit will be missed more than words can say. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and friendship.
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Chris was known for his generous heart, quick wit, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved. He brought dedication and passion to everything he did. Chris had a remarkable ability to make people feel seen and valued, and his laughter was contagious.
Chris is survived by his sons, a lifelong partner, a sister, a father, and countless friends and extended family who were touched by his presence. He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Gail Adler, and his brother, William Travis Adler.
In his free time, Chris enjoyed photography, long motorcycle rides, and taking in the “un-real” joy of everyday life. He was always happiest when surrounded by loved ones, sharing a story or a good meal.
A celebration of Chris’s life will be held on June 2 at Club Garibaldi, 2501 S. Superior St., Milwaukee, beginning at 3 p.m. All who knew and loved Chris are welcome to attend and share memories.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to MusiCares, which provides a safety net of critical health and welfare services to the music community—a cause close to Chris’s heart.
Chris’s kindness, humor, and love will live on in all of us. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
