Cheryl L Means, was born in Chicago, Illinois, on January 14, 1947, to James and Charlene (Powell) Means. 

Cheryl grew up and was educated in Memphis, Tennessee. Cheryl moved to Chicago, Illinois where she worked for the University of Chicago Hospital before moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to work as a secretary for the Milwaukee School System. 

 Cheryl passed from a lengthy illness on June 22, 2026. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, both sets of grandparents, and a brother. 

Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory: 4 sisters - Anita , Gail, Terry and Elaine, a very special cousin, Ronnie, special Nieces, Nephews, and many special Friends.
