Charles P. Linskens, a beloved father, engineer, entrepreneur, and passionate gardener, passed away on April 24, 2025. He was 93 years old, and surrounded by the comfort and love of his family.
Born in Wisconsin, Charles was a visionary who founded a sprayer manufacturing facility in Delafield. He left behind a legacy of innovation and a deep love for his family, his faith, and nature.
His ingenuity was not limited to manufacturing. In the late 1950's, he and his wife, Renee, designed and constructed their forever home in Delafield. On their property Charles and his sons, Chuck and Michael, planted thousands of trees which is now an attractive woodland.
Charles found incredible joy in gardening. He used his engineering skills to design and build agricultural machines, blending technology with his love of the land. His pride and joy was his orchard, home to over 100 apple trees.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of over 67 years Renee; his children: Chuck Linskens (Diane), Michael Linskens, and Jennette (Ron Silverman); granddaughter, Amanda Linskens; and brothers, Robert Linskens and Harold (Lavonne) Linskens. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delberta and Albert Linskens; granddaughter, Briana Linskens; and brothers, Thomas Linskens and Joseph Linskens.
We will always cherish memories of Charles; he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rest in eternal peace in God's heavenly garden.
