Chad Allen Schneider

Chad A. Schneider, age 50, passed away on Aug. 2, 2022, as a result of injuries caused by a tragic motorcycle accident. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Mina A. Schneider, of Platteville, WI. He is further survived by his uncles; Randy (Paula) Purcell, Gregory Purcell, and Rick Schneider. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Rickie Purcell and Gail Schneider; grandparents, Sylvia and Thomas Purcell; and Harriet (Dixie) and Rudolph Schneider. Chad lived in Blanchardville, WI, and worked as a carpenter. In his free time he enjoyed repairing cars and motorcycles. Chad was born in Madison, WI, grew up in Des Plaines, IL, and spent many summers and vacations in New Glarus, WI, with his grandparents. In a final act of kindness, Chad graciously donated his organs to others so that they could continue to live. A memorial service will be held on Aug. 20 at 3 pm at New Glarus Baptist Bible Church, 207 6th St, New Glarus, WI.
