Carol Broder, age 73, of New Berlin, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully under hospice care on December 18, 2025.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Frank Broder. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Shirley Dunn.

Carol is also survived by her siblings: Susan (Larry) Schwefel, Ronald (Sandy) Dunn, Steven (Sharon) Dunn, Janis Remmen, and Michael (Beth) Dunn, along with many godchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and dear friends who cherished her.

Carol worked for many years as a valued Federal Social Security Administrative Assistant, retiring in 2004. She took great pride in her work and in serving others.

She enjoyed traveling the world, staying active and healthy, savoring her favorite ice creams, playing sheepshead, and spending time talking and laughing with family and friends. Carol especially loved hosting her annual St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve family gatherings—events filled with warmth, joy, and togetherness.

Carol was a deeply kind, loving, and generous person with an infectious laugh and smile. Her presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her Christian faith gave her peace for what she is experiencing now.
