Bruce Anthony Eichstaedt

July 9, 1958 — February 16, 2024

In loving memory of Bruce Anthony Eichstaedt, who at an early age of 65 passed away much to soon and will be dearly missed. Bruce was born July 9, 1958, and passed away peacefully in Oconomowoc on February 16, 2024.

Bruce will be dearly missed by his sister,  Sherrill Plymesser; his nieces and nephews: Brent and Deana Plymesser, Nicole Mendoza, Jayden and Lucia Mendoza, Anthony Cole, Makenzye Bond, and Lukey Mendoza. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia and Warren Eichstaedt; his sister, Cynthia Eichstaedt; and his brother-in-law, Ronald Plymesser.

Bruce loved to go fishing and hang out with his friends, but his greatest passion was playing his electric guitar in his rock 'n' roll bands, "The Flying V's" and "The Zoo". Bruce loved playing and listening to Rock and Roll music. He also loved going to see other bands play along with his friends. It was one of the greatest times of his life. Plus he made some pretty awesome friends in those bands and he made the best memories along with them. There was such a special bond that they had. They were all one big happy family. Especially his friends from the band "The Flying V's" whom will dearly miss him, including Tom Mobray, Michael Penkwitz, and Bo and Billy Conlon, who showed Bruce and I what true friends really are. When they came  to visit, they showed him how much they loved and cared about him and they made him so happy. Plus they brought back all the amazing and fun memories he had with them. Whenever they came to visit, I saw his eyes light up and he would get  the biggest smile on his face. They made such an impact on him that even when he was suffering, they made him smile and feel a little better. He was able to take their love, kindness, caring thoughts, and memories to heaven with him in his heart. Bruce will never forget all his friends and family and the people he loved.  And we will all never forget Bruce, and his love for music. Bruce will be dearly missed but never forgotten. We will keep him in our hearts and memories forever!

I would also like to give a very special thanks to all the wonderful  and amazing people who work and volunteer at Angels Grace Hospice for taking such awesome care of my brother and keeping him so comfortable and helping him to pass peacefully. They do an amazing job.

At Bruce's request, there will be no funeral and the family will hold a special tribute for him at home.
