Bridget A. Behling

January 11, 1965 — May 24, 2023

New Berlin

Bridget Ann Behling, 58, of New Berlin, WI passed away on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 surrounded by family.

Bridget was born on January 11th, 1965 to Robert and Patricia Wiese.  She grew up in New Berlin Wisconsin with her six siblings: Brad (Munch), Cheryl (Mark), Terri (Dave), Peg (Ric), Paul (Lori) and Mike.  After Graduating from New Berlin West, she went on to eventually find a career that followed in her parents footsteps in Education.  Bridget spent over 20 years proudly serving in the Mukwonago Area School District.

On June 20th, 1992 Bridget married Darren Behling and they continued to reside in New Berlin for the entirety of their marriage. Together the two of them went on to build a beautiful life, filled with endless memories and happiness.  In the center of that life was one of her most prized treasures - their children and grandchildren! Bridget was the most committed Mother and Grandmother, pouring her heart into her family and finding ways to make every moment special for them.

Furthermore, Bridget was a true example of what it means to find the good in life.  She adored her time up at the lake in Northern Wisconsin, camping alongside some of her most cherished friends, all things Wisconsin sports related, any trip that included the ocean and off course, all the joy she found in caring for her numerous pups throughout the years. All of these moments, more than likely also included a glass of red wine in hand.

Bridget is survived by her husband, Darren of 34 years; children, Natasha (Jason), Bryan (Jen) and Victoria (Nemanja); grandchildren, Skylar, Liam, Aiden, Brycson and Matea.   Bridget is further survived by her brothers and sisters, numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Bridget was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Patricia Wiese; her mother and father-in-law, Dale and Delores Behling; brother, Bradley Wiese; son-in-law, Jason Wisman along with other family and friends.

A celebration of life will take place in Bridget’s honor at a later date.
