Brian Wayne Couch

On Thursday, November 5, 2020, Brian Couch, loving husband and father of four, passed away after a 2 year long battle with cancer. Brian was born March 25, 1959 in Rockford IL to Jerry and Janice Couch. Brian worked in advertising and business for forty years. On December 28, 1984 Brian married Teresa Couch and together they raised four daughters. Brian enjoyed playing and watching many sports and coached all four of his daughters throughout their childhoods. He loved to play basketball and was an avid golfer who never missed an opportunity to play a round. A Detroit Lions fan, he watched all their games whether they won or lost and loved to banter with other football fans. Charismatic and sociable, Brian leaves many friends with his passing. But most of all, Brian will be remembered as a kind and optimistic man; a dedicated father who strived to provide for his family. He never gave up hope, even in his last moments and will be remembered for this strength. Brian was preceded in death by his father Jerry Couch. He is survived by his wife Teresa and his four daughters, Rachel, Madeleine, Abbey and Lydia as well as his mother, Janice Couch, his sister, Dawn Gwizdala and brother, Ken Couch.
