Brenda Lee Eddy, 61, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on the evening of Monday October 11, 2021 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Brenda was born to Lloyd and Marjorie Backhaus in Iron Mountain, Michigan on November 7, 1959. Brenda was the eldest sibling to Jeffery (Judy) Backhaus, Randall Backhaus, and Debra (Joseph) Neuburg. After graduating from Wausaukee High School, Brenda found her passion in cooking and made a career as a food service manager. On November 29, 1991 she married her husband and “love of her life”, Bradley Eddy, creating their blended family of nearly 30 years with her two children Raegan (Justin) Miesner and Edward (Amanda) Jarman III, and Bradley’s son Chad (Samantha) Eddy. After retiring in 2005, Brenda devoted her time to caring for her family, which grew to include six cherished and adored grandchildren, Sara Miesner, Maycie, Edward IV, Evelyn, Alice-Joy, and RaeLee Jarman, as well as her dog Jax. When she wasn’t spending time with family, Brenda loved to travel, drive her Slingshot, cook, and volunteer in the community. She also had a great passion for politics and the Packers. Brenda’s greatest joy, however, was party and event planning for friends and family. She shared her time and talents to make loved ones’ special days unforgettable. Brenda was a strong, fiery, devoted, loving, and generous free spirit. She had touched the lives of many people and will be missed immensely.
