Beth Eleanor Weinfurt

February 12, 1967 — August 9, 2025

Beth Weinfurt (Dietz), age 58, passed away on August 9th, 2025, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, following a medical crisis that she faced with incredible faith. Though her passing was not peaceful in the traditional sense, she was surrounded by her loved ones in her final hours.

Beth lived a life full of love. She was known for her generosity, a listening ear, loving with ferocity, and her caring spirit.

She was the beloved daughter of John and Karen Dietz, who preceded her in death, and a devoted mother to Alyssa Hayes and son-in-law Mark Hayes. Beth was a cherished grandmother to Naomi, Wyatt, Elijah, and Charlotte. Dear sister to Jon Dietz, and treasured aunt to Dylan Dietz, Taylor Dietz, Jameson Dietz, Kyle Dietz (Isabel Schueller), Cody Dietz (Anya Schnell), Joe Weinfurt (Emily Weinfurt), Jamie Weinfurt (John Stawski), Jenna Cyskiewicz (Alex Cyskiewicz), David Heckle, Sarah Heckle, Nick Heckle, Samantha Weinfurt, and Matthew Weinfurt.

Also surviving is her former husband, Dan Weinfurt. Though their paths eventually diverged, their shared love for their grandchildren and family remained a central part of Beth’s life.

Beth’s heart was big enough to include more than just relatives. She was deeply grateful for the love and friendship of Jenny Bechthold (Chris Bechthold), Nathaniel Bohman (Becky Bohman), Karen Brown, Danny Semrow, and many others who were like family to her.

Beth will always be remembered for her warm smile, faith, humor, and great cooking. Her homemade chocolate cake will be missed by all. She enjoyed knitting, reading, attending Naomi’s dance events, and most of all spending time laughing with her daughter and admiring her grandchildren.

To honor Beth’s request there will not be a formal service. She has requested instead that a large party is thrown in her memory. The celebration of Beth’s life will be held on Friday, September 19th at 4:00PM at The Thirsty Duck in Sussex, Wisconsin. Friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate.

The family would like to thank the ICU team at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for their compassion and care. They were deeply committed to supporting Beth and Alyssa during a very difficult time.

Beth’s love left a lasting imprint on every heart she touched, and her memory will forever live on in those who were blessed to know her.
