Anton (Tony) Wallner, 90, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of faith, love, hard work, and generosity.

Known to everyone as Tony, he was born in Austria and came to the U.S. as a young boy. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Terek) Wallner, his high school sweetheart. Together they shared 56 beautiful years of marriage, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family.

Tony was a loving father of Liza Wallner and Anton (Tony) Wallner (Thomas Severino). He was preceded in death by his brothers, Albin and John, and his sister, Trudy. He is survived by his sisters, Linda and Cecilia, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

A proud United States Navy veteran, Tony faithfully served his country before dedicating 43 years of his career to Wetzel Brothers Printing Company. He was known as a dependable, diligent man who earned the respect of his colleagues through his strong work ethic.

A devoted parishioner of St. Vincent Pallotti Parish (East), he lived his faith through kindness, humility, compassion, and service to others.

Tony had a lifelong passion for automobile racing, especially Formula One and stock car racing. One of the greatest gifts his family gave him was the opportunity to fulfill a dream by driving both a Formula One race car and a stock car on professional tracks. He was fast!

A true wine connoisseur, Tony took great pride in growing his own grapes and crafting his own homemade wine. He enjoyed sharing the fruits of his labor with family and friends, finding joy in both the process and the fellowship it created.

Above all, Tony will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, proud veteran, faithful Catholic, loyal Packers fan, and a man of integrity whose quiet strength touched everyone he knew. His steady presence, gentle nature, ready smile, and willingness to lend a helping hand will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

May he rest in eternal peace. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you remember Tony with a gift to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. A Mass intention is scheduled at St. Vincent Pallotti Parish (East) for Friday morning, September 18, 2026.
