Andrew Richard Crawford Stark

September 11, 1985 — August 14, 2020

Andrew “Andy” Richard Crawford, age 34, of Wales, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 14, 2020. Andy was born to Cori and Dan Crawford, September 11th, 1985, in Milwaukee, WI. He graduated from Kettle Moraine High School in 2004 where he excelled at soccer. He later went on to play at Marian University. Andy’s love for his family shined over everyone. His contagious smile and captivating personality were a gravitational force. You couldn’t capture a moment where he wasn’t smiling. Andy loved family and was happiest when everyone was together at the house in Wales. Andy’s younger years were filled with joy when spending time with his grandparents and all his cousins at their cottage in Wautoma. His visits across the pasture in Wales to his Boppi and Grandma’s farm filled his days with mischief and joy causing ruckus with all of his cousins. During his high school years, he was fortunate to spend his summers with his grandparents hiking in the great outdoors of Oregon. After high school, Andy spent 5 years coaching soccer with his father. Together they coached in Wales and at St. John’s Military Academy where they established school records and earned an advancement to the Elite 8 in the WIAA State Playoffs. Part of Andy’s imagination and lust for life was founded in his travel with his parents and grandparents. One highlight included his travels to Africa with his grandma Janet, his dad, and his brother Alex where they summited Mount Kilimanjaro and trekked gorillas in the DRC. Andy also spent time in Germany and was fortunate to travel throughout Europe, the Caribbean, and across the US. Andy savored Wisconsin’s Sports teams and enjoyed nature’s gifts that we sometimes take for granted. He learned how to scuba dive with his cousins who he thoroughly loved. He spent a few years in the Carolinas with his cousin Lindsay hiking through the Appalachian Mountains. Andy had a strong love for animals. From the time he was born, he had a passion for caring for and tending to all the animals on the farm in Wales. The dogs he raised were extensions of himself, and became his shadow- traveling everywhere he went. They were his children, until he had a daughter of his own. April 18th, 2018, Andy and Leah became parents to their beautiful daughter, Luna. After Luna’s birth, Andy’s whole world shifted. He never wavered when things got hard, Luna was his whole world. He stopped working and made it his priority to be with her at all times. Andy’s job and purpose in life was to care for Luna and love her unconditionally. Leah and Andys love was like no other. They were given some of the most trying times and their love prevailed. They stayed strong when things got tough and always stayed lighthearted. Andy is survived by his loving mother Cori, father Daniel, step mom Kris, brother Danny (Melissa), Alex (Jessica), beautiful sister Cassandra (Mike), his beautiful daughter Luna, and the love of his life and best friend, partner in crime and soulmate, Leah. Andy was a proud uncle to his niece Ellie, and nephews Jackson, Owen, and Aidan. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to a gofundme account to support Luna’s ongoing medical needs and future expenses.
