Obituary

Alan Ray Riddell “Al”, born in Phillip, South Dakota, on April 15th, 1937, passed away peacefully in Muskego, Wisconsin, on December 13th, 2025.

Alan proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army, a reflection of his strong sense of duty and commitment. After his military service, Al worked in construction, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He took pride in a job well done and in providing for those he loved. Alan was devotedly married for 49 years to his beloved wife, Deborah Riddell, who preceded him in death just three months earlier. West Allis, Wisconsin, was home for most of their life together. Their marriage was one of deep love, partnership, and shared life, and the loss of his wife was felt profoundly.

Alan loved the outdoors and found joy on the golf course. He valued the friendships he made throughout his life and cherished the time spent with those close to him. A lifelong Green Bay Packers fan, Al rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite team.

He will be remembered for his loyalty, kindness, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. Alan is survived by his children: Dan (Stephanie), Randy (Diane), and Ryan (Mary); and by his adored grandchildren: Corey, Christopher, Courtney, Brody, and Bentley.

Though his time with us has ended, Al’s spirit and memory remain with us always. A celebration of Alan’s life will take place at a later date.
